In 2013 and 2015 in the early years of the Clandestine Cake Club, I wrote a couple of cookbooks, 'The Clandestine Cake Club Cookbook' and 'A Year of Cake'. Each book contains recipes written by me and many members of the Clandestine Cake Club at the time. You can also find spin-off recipes on this site such as this Chocolate Hazelnut Bundt Cake.
What is The Clandestine Cake Club Cookbook About?
120 recipes all whole cakes. No cupcakes, muffins traybakes or brownies. It was all about whole cakes in those days. Cakes for sharing with family and friends.
From classic teatime treats and chocolatey indulgences to global bakes and spectacular cake extravaganzas, you'll find inspiring recipes such as Scrumptious Sticky Toffee Cake; Smoked Chilli Chocolate Cake; Blood Orange and Rosemary Loaf; Raspberry Cakewell; Rose, Rhubarb & Cardamom Cake; Chai-soaked Vanilla Sponge; a giant Lemon Fondant Fancy; and the unmissable five-tier Rainbow Cake; plus stunning photography and sneak-peek snaps from cake club events.

What is A Year of Cake About?
Following the success of my first cookbook in 2013, I was given the opportunity to create a second cookbook of delicious cake recipes in 2015. Inspired by the most cake-worthy moments throughout the year, and with my army of Cake Club members at the time, I compiled 100 gorgeous recipes to whet your appetite and help get you to celebrate.
